CJ Bloor Property Consultants provides residential RICS surveys and valuations for private clients across the North West, Yorkshire, the West Midlands, and North Wales.
I am directly involved in the day-to-day management of the practice. From how instructions are handled through to the standards our surveys are delivered to, the way our service operates is something I take responsibility for personally.
While each survey is carried out by an experienced, RICS-qualified surveyor, my role is to ensure the framework around that work is consistent, well-managed, and properly governed. That means clear processes, professional oversight, and a service clients can rely on from start to finish.

The surveyor who inspects your property genuinely works your area — the estates, the eras, the recurring defects. But you instruct one firm: CJ Bloor is responsible for the job from first call to final report, and you have one point of contact throughout.
Every report to the same standard
Every report is produced to one format and reviewed against the same standard before it reaches you, so a report from any of our surveyors reads the same way and carries the same structure.
Independent, and answerable
We are an RICS regulated firm with Registered Valuers, a published complaints procedure and £2m of professional indemnity insurance. The advice is independent: no estate agent, lender or developer has any influence on what a report says.
If we are not right for the job, we say so
We only accept work in the areas we cover, we recommend the cheaper survey when it is the right one, and where a property needs a specialist rather than a surveyor, the report says so. Declining the wrong instruction is part of the service.
