This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking. Three items may be stored on your device, all first-party, two of them only if you accept, and only one of them lasts beyond your visit. Separately, if you arrived from a Google or ChatGPT advert and go on to enquire or book, we tell that advertiser, identified only by its own click reference; that is explained below and does not depend on what is stored on your device.

Why we do this at all
We advertise on professional directories and search engines. Those listings cost a substantial amount each year, and without knowing which of them actually produces enquiries we would be renewing them blind. That is the entire purpose: measuring our own advertising. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is never sold. The one thing we pass on: if you arrived from a Google or ChatGPT advert, we tell that advertiser its click led to an enquiry or a booking (with the fee, for a booking), identified only by the click reference the advertiser added to the link you followed. Never your name, email, phone number or address. That click reference comes from the link, not from your device, so it does not depend on the choice you make here. We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring the advertising we pay for, and you can object at any time by contacting us.
If you decline
Nothing is stored on your device beyond your choice itself. The site works exactly the same and you can still request a quote. We will simply see less about how you found us. If you arrive from a tagged link and enquire in the same visit, that link still travels with your enquiry, because it is read from the address bar rather than from your device, and if that link was a Google or ChatGPT advert the advertiser is told as described above.
Change your mind
You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use the button below, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing deletes anything already stored.
Your data rights
Where attribution data is attached to an enquiry it becomes part of your enquiry record, covered by our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, correct or erase it: email info@cjbloor.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
