Shrewsbury and Telford between them account for almost all the reports we have issued in Shropshire, in nearly equal measure, and they could hardly set up two more different jobs: the historic county town on the Severn on one side, and on the other a new town grown over the Shropshire Coalfield with one of the youngest housing mixes we survey.
